The Miami Children’s Chorus has proudly served the children of Miami-Dade County since 1965 by providing a choral music education and youth performance program of the highest caliber. Through an organized program of understanding and skill development the children learn to make music like practicing artists. MCC develops character, commitment, artistry, and passion in children by providing a supportive and nurturing environment where youth can grow their skills. Each child comes to the MCC from different backgrounds and with varying skill sets, but it is here where they learn that it is their dedicated effort that determines the extent of their personal and artistic growth.

Throughout its long history, MCC has prepared children to appear and record with artists in a wide variety of musical settings. They have sung with the Cleveland Orchestra; the Israel Chamber Orchestra; at the 44th NFL Super Bowl with Queen Latifah; for PBS with André Rieu and Ethan Bortnick; with Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Nestor Torres and Raul Di Blasio. MCC has performed numerous productions with the Florida Grand Opera – La Bohème, Tosca, Carmen, Turandot, Pagliacci; former Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, Master Chorale of South Florida, Miami Bach Society, Festival Miami and the Mainly Mozart Festival. MCC has also performed in over ten countries – The United States, Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Austria, the Czech Republic, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, and Australia (summer 2019).

Fusion Gitana Cultural Dance Exchange (FGCDE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The purpose of our organization is to enrich and educate the community with exposure to the art and the culture of different countries thru diverse forms of dance, encouraging dancers of all ages to overcome their fears and to be able to better understand common humanity.
Dancing builds self-esteem, confidence, social skills, discipline, physical health and much more. We want to help children and adults of all ages to fulfill their performing arts dreams.
With the high cost of living in South Florida, there is a huge need for funding to financially support children and families in our community who want to dance. FGCDE was created in an effort to continue to provide free weekly dance classes to children and their guardians in our community. We also provide scholarships to adults who may not have the financial resources to take dance classes. FGCDE also offers dance performances, training and outreach programs.
