Chopin Foundation of the United States

The Chopin Foundation’s mission is twofold: (1) to assist young, talented American pianists in their career development and in so doing, open doors to international careers; and (2) to make classical music, especially the music of Frederic Chopin, accessible to all.

Founded in 1977, the Chopin Foundation offers young American pianists the National Chopin Piano Competition, Scholarship Program, public concert opportunities, workshops, and much more. For the South Florida audiences we offer the annual Chopin for All Free Concert Series, Salon Concerts, and other special events. Our membership consist of music loving professionals, who meet three times a season for a concert and wine reception in the intimate setting of elegant La Gorce Country Club on Miami Beach.
